World of Warcraft- Is it too late to join?

The widely popular World of Warcraft computer game too the online community by storm back in 2004. Just four years later and the game is still going strong with 10 Million world wide subscribers battling it out in cyberspace.

So you may wonder with the vast amount of online gamers who are surely experienced, shoulda new comer even dare invest in a copy of World of Warcraft. The game itself has penetrated into our pop culture as evident in a episode of "South Park".

The straight up answer is yes. Blizzard, the creator of World of Warcraft and other popular games such as Diablo and Command and Conquer have already expanded World of Warcraft with the expansion pack "Burning Crusade". And with the expected release date of late 2008 "The Wrath of the Lich King" will surely make all the die hard Warcraft gamers lining up.

With all the subscribers to World of Warcraft Blizzard has to work on expanding the game in order to quench the players thirst for more gold, quest and glory.

The World of Warcraft is picking up steam and so far there seems to be no end in sight. In my humble opinion there is absolutely no bad time to start joining the game.

Though if you feel like you need a little help in getting a good start off in the game to catch up with friends or even just the general online game players you can check out; Learn World of Warcraft Secrets You can find strategy guides here widely used by many World of Warcraft gamers.

World of Warcraft Mage Guide FREE

There are many guides available for leveling a specific class within the World of Warcraft game. There are, however, few guides that provide resources on how to play a specific class to its fullest abilities. Getting a toon to the max level in a few days of played time is wonderful, but if the player does not learn the fine skills needed to work together well with other players in a raid, or levels by questing and expects to walk into a PVP arena and succeed, that player will be disappointed. Many players turn to the official WoW forums for advice. This is a big mistake. Every pre-pubescent kid with internet access is on those forums posting their un-informed advice as if it were gospel truth. It is difficult to wade through the morass and discern what information is valid and what comes from some teen building up his own ego. However, if you look hard enough, you can find some golden nuggets of truth out there. The problem is that it takes a long time to find good information, as it tends to be scattered across the internet. That is, unless you come across a site like Archmagus.Archmagus is a free online guide to playing a World of Warcraft mage to the fullest. It contains advice on gear selection, spec selection, tips for PVPing, etc. It's especially good for players that are new to the mage class, but even veteran mages can benefit. For example, one of the biggest questions a mage asks is what kind of gear and stats they should focus on. Is +DMG better than +CRIT? What about +HIT? Archmagus provides the resources to answer that question. In the case above, the answer is generally that +HIT will provide the biggest DPS against bosses in raids than any other stat until the player is hit-capped at 164 (assuming 3 points in Elemental Precision). And rather than just assuming that and speaking it as gospel truth, the guide provides a spreadsheet that calculates DPS to back up that claim.Another useful section is the information about Addons/Macros. For example, a macro is provided that allows a mage to Polymorph a given target, then select another target for DPS. The macro uses the 'focus' function to allow the mage to 're-sheep' the polymorphed target without ever de-selecting the DPS target. No more hunting around through a pack of players and mobs, and no more re-sheeping the wrong target. Just push a button and the original sheeped target is re-sheeped and the player never takes his targeting off the DPS target. So, if you are looking for a guide to give relevant information that is more about PLAYING and less about LEVELING, they are available. You just have to know where to look. For Archmagus, try looking at: http://mage.best-free-information.com
